A popular musician who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than nine years ago has made a return to the stage as part of her fightback against the condition.
Hayley Moyses, who has recently released an album, New Shoes For Nashville, performed with her band Hayley Moyses Britgrass 3 at The Belfry in Overstrand as part of the Folk on the Strand festival in September.
The band was the support act to another act, The Spikedrivers, playing to a full house, and was given a standing ovation.
Ms Moyses, 50, has appealed to theatre directors to offer her a slot for her to perform and officially launch the album.
“Please help me from hero to zero with a turnaround," she said.
“I didn’t believe it, and it’s so wonderful to feel wanted again and interest being taken in my latest album.
Ms Moyses said she had been asked to perform again, at the Brickmakers at Sprowston, in October.
