Norfolk solicitors Hayes and Storr have raised more than £1350 for cancer charities through a series of events including a golf day in Cromer, a coastal hike from Wells to Hunstanton and a coffee morning in Holt.
It all started with a Cancer Research UK Race for Life hike where a team of female staff, known internally as the 'Hayes Angels', walked 22 miles from Hunstanton to Wells and raised over £500 for Cancer Research UK.
Last week the firm's sixth annual golf day, at Royal Cromer, was the ideal event to raise £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support, supplying a wide variety of homemade cakes to 54 players from local businesses, as they each arrived hungry at the 'Half Way House' on the course.
Last Friday a Macmillan coffee morning at the Hayes and Storr Holt office raised £400 from the home-baking efforts of staff.
