Archant

What has four legs, a set of floppy ears and longs for a lunar satellite?

Why it’s a ‘moongazer’ hare, of course, and there are now six of them to be found across north Norfolk as part of Break charity’s GoGoHares sculpture trail.

One of them, Chrome-Hare, is at Cromer’s North Lodge Park.

Barry Meadows, from Friends of North Lodge Park, said: “It has been really well-received, and the way it shines makes it really special. It has had sponsorship from lots of businesses and individuals around town and this is something that is really here for everybody.”

Other moongazer hares (there are 18 in total, along with the 50 ‘ears up’ hares in Norwich) can be found at: Market Place, North Walsham - ‘Lepus Hare’; Market Place, Aylsham - ‘Humphry Hare’; Holt Country Park - ‘A Hare Through The Seasons’, Wroxham Barns, Tunstead Road, Hoveton - ‘Betsy’ and outside The Fur and Feather, Woodbastwick - ‘GoGo Hareatio Nelson’.
