A group of children from Gresham's Prep School will join others from around 800 schools across the UK on Thursday to learn about the news industry.
The year eight pupils will take part in the BBC News School Report, which aims to teach students about how the media works.
Vicki Harvey-Seldon, an English teacher at the school, said: 'It's quite an intense project with an awful lot for the pupils to learn.'
