A picturesque Broadland village was alive with the sounds of sizzling sausages, bacon and eggs as 160 people from Neatishead, Barton Turf and Irstead munched their way through the Big Breakfast.
A great team of volunteers cooked and served 160 breakfasts in two hours at the New Victory Hall, Neatishead.
All the proceeds, expected to be more than £1,400, will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
Leander Platten, fundraising manager, Norfolk, said: 'Such a good total came about because of the generous support from local firms, namely Tavern Tasty Meats, Broadland Eggs, Broadland Hams, Point Farm Holidays, Tesco of Stalham, Roys of Wroxham, White House Stores Neatishead and Nelson's County Catering, plus staff from Barclays Bank Wroxham adopted the event as part of its Community Programme 2018. Locals also made donations to Cancer Research UK, which was chosen as its 2018 charity as several local people are fighting the disease.'
