Sunshine, flowers and fun for all the family at annual Kids for Kids day

Cuddly animals ranging from young goats, to ducklings, chicks and a Shetland pony were among the attractions at the fourth annual Kids for Kids day, held at Stody Lodge Gardens, near Holt, at the weekend.

Photo: KAREN BETHELLThe event, which has raised thousands for local good causes, was organised a team led by Kate McNicol, whose family owns the Stody estate.
It also featured donkey rides, traditional games and stalls run by local schools, den making, a dog show and a pirate-themed treasure hunt around the estate’s 14 acres of spectacular rhododendron and azalea gardens.

Thanking all those who supported the event, Mrs McNicol said: “We have had a great turnout thanks to the amazing weather and what is nice is that children have a chance to interact with animals and let their imaginations run wild in the magical gardens.”
