Some of the biggest questions in life such as 'how does God fit into the Big Bang theory?' will be discussed as part of a series of autumn talks at a Norfolk church.

Aylsham Parish Church will host a series of free lectures on the topic of science and faith at 7.30pm on Wednesdays throughout October.

They will be delivered by the Rev'd Dr Rodney Holder, on October 10, Prof. Bob White on October 17, and Prof. Keith Fox, on October 24.

The second annual Rev'd John Pumphrey autumn talks, in partnership with the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion at the University of Cambridge, are being held in memory of a fondly remembered priest who served Aylsham for many years.

Revd Jack Branford, curate of Aylsham Parish Church, said: 'It is an incredible privilege to be able to welcome world-class speakers such as these to our town and our church.'
