Bird watchers will want to get along to the National Wildlife Trust's Cley Marshes reserve on Thursday, March 22 for a talk titled 'Flight Lines'.
The event will bring together the latest research findings on bird migration, delivered through engaging narrative together with the wonderful artwork generated through Flight Lines, which is a combined project of the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) and the Society of Wildlife Artists (SWA).
Mike Toms from the BTO and Harriet Mead from the SWA will lead the talk, which will focus on the ways in which art and science have come together to highlight the challenges that migrant birds face as they fly between the UK and their wintering areas in Africa.
The event runs from 7pm to 9pm - the talk itself will start at 7.45pm following a supper. Tickets are £10 for trust members and £12 for non-members. For more information call Bayley Wooldridge on 01263 740008.
