A community festival's headline show has been a complete sell out.
A community festival's headline show has been a complete sell out.
Bosses of The Happing Festival, one of north Norfolk's biggest community events, have sold all tickets for their evening with world renowned keyboard player Rick Wakeman, who is hosting a one man show at St Mary's Church in Stalham this Saturday .
It marks the start of the festival which is set to run from June through to September with a host of different events taking place.
Among them are an evening with Sid Kipper at New Victory Hall in Neatishead on Friday, September 10, a classical concert with St Martin in the Fields at St Catherine's Church Ludham on Saturday, July 10 and a screening of local film The Broads at Stalham Town Hall on Friday, July 9.
The organisers of the festival vowed to go ahead keeping Mr Wakeman as the headline act after failing to secure a National Lottery Awards for All grant of 10,000 which makes up roughly half the festival costs, earlier this year.
