Cyclist taken to hospital after hit-and-run on A140

A driver failed to stop after a car collided with a cyclist on the A140.

A woman was cycling near to Aylsham Garden Centre at about 12.10am on Christmas Eve when she was in collision with a car.

The driver of the car, which was believed to be a light-coloured Nissan Qashqai, failed to stop at the scene.

The cyclist was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone with information, should contact PC Sue Weatherburn at Taverham police station on 101.
