'Fantastic' turnout for Where's Wally lookalike charity event

He is the character that countless children have spent hours poring over picture books in a bid to find him.
But for a few hours in north Norfolk this afternoon, it was more a case of where wasn't Wally, as Holt's Stody Lodge opened its doors to hordes of stripily-dressed lookalikes.
Visitors dressed as the cartoon creation entered the Lodge's gardens for free and gathered for a group photo, butterfly trail, and games.

There were also afternoon teas and scones on sale in aid of Norfolk charity The Benjamin Foundation (TBF).
Kate MacNicol, owner of Stody Lodge Gardens, said: “It was a fantastic day and we had a lovely turnout. The sun came out and we had lots of children running around.
“We work with lots of charities and chose TBF as it's their 25th year.”
And Chris Elliott, TBF marketing and fundraising manager, added: “We've raised at least £300 today.
“It's an amazing venue and we met lots of families and children and were able to share what we're up to.”
