People can take part in a community fun-run to raise money for their own charity or organisation.

Cromer Town Council, supported by North Norfolk District Council and the Old Rock Shop Bistro, is organising the event on the carnival field at Runton Road car park.

People can walk or run around the course as many times as they like, from 1km to 10km, and for every lap completed their card will be punched.

Cromer town councillor Phil Harris said: “We know local community groups are always looking at ways of raising money and we are trying to help them achieve this in a fun way.”

Water will be provided and the St John Ambulance will attend.

Entry fee (non-refundable) is £1 per person pre-registration and £2 per person on the day. For application and sponsorship forms, call the council on 01263 512254. It’s on Sunday, October 21, with start times at 10am and 10.30am.
