The North Norfolk News website is continuing to prove a hit with readers and our page on social-networking site Facebook now has almost 5000 Friends.
The biggest talking point this week was the last minute cancellation of the fireworks display in Cromer on New Year's Day.
But the good news is it has been rescheduled for this weekend. The show is set to get underway from the pier on Sunday, January 8, at 5pm - weather permitting.
Commenting on the postponement on our Facebook page, Jason Aston Villa Bullas said: 'We are not spending the day in Norfolk now as we only came here for the weekend for the fireworks so, as soon as we have checked out of our guesthouse, we are going home as we are completely disgusted by the short notice given.

'We come from 200 miles away and we saw what the weather was going to be like around seven days ago and we are seeing the same forecast as everyone else. And we have just been told by someone who has lived here for 25 years plus that every year come rain shine or snow the fireworks have still gone ahead regardless of the weather.'
Juliet Wright said: 'How on earth can you expect anything but short notice on the weather? Luckily we live locally so we can pop up next Sunday.'

Dawn 'Dizzy' Theodore said: 'You can't help the weather. It's the coast and the middle of winter!'
Anna Morris said: 'Why can't you just have some music and enjoy yerselves? Donate the firework money to something else and be thankful you haven't terrified the pants off of the wildlife and polluted the coastline.
'There is loads to do in Cromer far better than any fireworks. Next year don't bother going, have some in your garden. Fireworks are fireworks.'

There was some good news for Cromer however, with the announcement that business in the town is booming going by the number of new shops which have opened - 10 in total - in past year.
Commenting on the story on our website, weaversway said: 'When I'm out and about on business and come into Cromer I always think: 'What a great, individual town'. It is not packed with the same shops and cafes you see everywhere. Always seems to be holiday makers whatever time of the year. Lovely park (great cafe there). Long may it remain so different and not become just an 'anywhere' sort of place with the same brand names you can get in any other town. Cromer residents, you have a unique place, one of the few seaside towns that has retained its own character.'
