Broadland scored a goal after just 20 seconds in their Premier Division match against Norwich City II and then went two up – but they eventually had to settle for a point from a 2-2 draw.

The game got off to a dramatic start when Dani Parke's miss-timed strike gave the Norwich City keeper no chance as it looped over her head and into the goal.

With the whistle about to go for the end of the half Parke then chased down an optimistic through ball and easily beat the keeper to double Broadland's lead.

City played their way back into the game with some well worked moves and reduced the arrears through Emily Francis before Jessie Withers smashed the ball home after a storming run.

Broadland might have grabbed all the points near the end but for some good covering work by the City midfield.
