It's been held on the same week for more than 50 years, but it will have to find alternative dates next year.
The 2017 Cromer Carnival art week started on Friday, May 26, and will be open every day at Cromer Parish Hall, until 5pm on Wednesday, May 31.
The free exhibition of paintings, crafts and photography, to view, enjoy and buy, raises valuable funds for Cromer Carnival, which is held in August. It includes work by local artists and schools.
But the parish hall will be used for other activities in May 2018.
The vicar of Cromer, the Rev Dr James Porter said: 'We are in very constructive discussions, and we can offer the same length of time for the exhibition next year, but on alternative dates.'
Tony Shipp, chairman of the Voluntary Entertainments Organisation, which runs the carnival, admitted it was disappointing, but said they were discussing different dates.
