A steam engine making its way to the North Norfolk Railway travelled through the region on Thursday.

British Railways class 4MT 2-6-0 No. 76084 is normally based on the heritage railway in Sheringham but has been visiting other lines in Yorkshire and Lancashire over the winter.

It is also registered to run on Britain’s main lines because it is fitted with modern safety and electrical equipment.
