One of Norfolk's favourite pubs has been restored to its former glory following a devastating fire and a date has been set for its re-opening.
The Ingham Swan, near Stalham, was nearly destroyed in September 2017.
Now, the Grade II listed building is due to re-open on Friday, March 15, after almost 18 months of painstaking work by a team of builders and craftsmen.
Owners Daniel Smith, who is also chef patron, and Gregory Adjemian have re-designed the interiors continuing to preserve the character and intimate surroundings.
New seating has been installed, the bar has been re-built, and Mr Smith and head chef Alex Clare cannot wait to get back to their spiritual home in Sea Palling Road.
They're particularly excited about the possibilities that await in their brand-new kitchen which they've been able to design to their own standards and to bring new technology and techniques into the kitchen.
The team has been busy working on dish ideas and Mr Smith said: 'We've spent a long time picking up the pieces and whilst it's been frustrating at times, it will be fantastic to be open again and get everybody back in.
'Here in this little corner of north-east Norfolk, an area that I am so passionate about, we're excited to get back to business doing what we do best, to live and love the finest and freshest food.
'Thank you to everyone for being so patient; we've got very loyal customers and we look forward to welcoming everyone back.'
Mr Smith and Mr Adjemian took on the management of The Ingham Swan in 2010 before purchasing the freehold in 2013. The Michelin-Bib restaurant has held a plethora of awards and accolades including two AA rosettes.
While the work was being carried out, they were able to find their core staff work in their other eateries, the Warwick Street Social in Norwich and The Wildebeest Pub in Stoke Holy Cross.
More than 45 firefighters attended the blaze, which tore through the top of the pub and the adjoining cottage and gallery.
