Cyclists in Holt are being encouraged to get their bikes security marked in a special event being run by police.
Police community support officer (PCSO) Jason Ford will hold the event at the Holt Youth Project, Old Station Way, Holt, on Wednesday, June 9, between 4pm and 7pm.
PCSO Ford said: 'The bicycle marking event is a great opportunity for cyclists to increase their knowledge on cycle security and help prevent their cycles from being stolen. Taking a few basic security measures may help deter an opportunist thief.'
Officers are also advising cycle owners to record and register the cycles make, model and frame number as this assists police in returning recovered bikes to their rightful owners.
