Cuts public meeting at Holt

A public meeting has been called in Holt to give people the chance to ask questions about the looming Norfolk County Council cuts.

Holt county councillor John Perry-Warnes and district councillors Mike Baker and Philip High will be joined by either a cabinet member or a senior officer from the county council at The Feathers Hotel at Market Place.

The meeting is at 2.30pm on Friday.

Mr Perry-Warnes said: 'There is a feeling that the details about the cuts coming out of County Hall have not been easy to read or to understand.

'People are apprehensive about services for the frail elderly and transport for young people. These are things that are causing anxiety, and this gives people a chance to air their views.'
