Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaulted in north Norfolk.

The incident happened on Tuesday, April 10 at around 6.30pm, in Cromer.

The victim, a man in his late teens, was walking home through Happy Valley near to The Warren when he was approached by four males.

One of the suspects punched the victim, knocking him to the ground, before repeatedly kicking him.

He is described as being white, aged between 18 and 25, of a stocky build, around six feet tall, with scruffy blonde hair and wearing a blue Nike tracksuit.

The victim sustained a bloody nose and red marks to his face and arms as a result of the incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, should contact PC Dave Greenwood at Cromer Police Station on 101.

*Note: Norfolk Police originally reported the assault took place on March 10. However, it has since been clarified that the crime occurred on April 10.
