A 21-year-old swimming teacher is running the London Marathon for the second time, but this time without her father.

Emily Bowyer was selected to run with her dad, Jeff, but after three London marathons, he has decided to hang up his running boots. She will be running on Sunday, April 28, with her boyfriend, Seb Matthews, from Norwich.

Miss Bowyer, who works at Woodlands Leisure in Sheringham, is running again for the Lymphoma Action charity.

Her mother Jayne had Hodgkins disease, which is a type of lymphoma, and recently had thyroid cancer.

A raffle will be held in aid of Lymphoma Action, with more than 50 prizes on offer. Tickets are available, at £2, at Cromer Gift Shop or Woodlands Leisure in Sheringham. You can also fill in the sponsorship form at the shop or pop a coin into the Lymphoma charity tin. Or you can donate through www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emily-bowyer4
