The new Cromer mayor has joined in with a beach litter pick.
The litter pick on Cromer beach concentrated in the east beach as far as the lighthouse steps and, as well as Cromer mayor Greg Hayman, others taking part included councillor Scott Eastwood and Cromer pier's new box office manager Mathew Ansell as well as the Cromer in Bloom team.
Rubbish collected included bottles, cans, wrappers, plastic, several broken crab pits and even a rusty old fridge.
Monica Gepp, vice-chairman of Cromer in Bloom, said: 'Our thanks to everyone who took part, it was hard work but worth it.'
Another beach clean is planned for Sunday, September 18 as part of a marine survey.
