Cromer library will be transformed into a 'fun palace' on October 5, as part of a international scheme aimed at celebrating science, culture and the arts.
The event will see libraries all over the county organise activities ranging from painting and knitting, to reflexology and dancing in the lead-up to National Libraries Week, which runs from October 9-16.
It has been organised as part of Fun Palace weekend, which last year saw around 124,000 people from 11 nations take part.
At Cromer, staff will be hosting a variety of activities for older people as part of an ongoing loneliness project, with seaside reminiscence at 10.15am and a sing-along choir at 11am.
The library will also be taking part in this year's Cromer and Sheringham Art and Literary (Coast) festival, with events including a talk by London arts curator Shonagh Marshall about fashion icon Isabella Blow on October 27 and an exhibition of work by local artist John Midgley, which runs until October 25.
