Year 6 pupils at Cromer Junior School had a chance to learn about jobs ranging from police officer to postal worker, at an annual careers day they organised for youngsters from three local primary schools.
The event, which is now in its third year, included information stands run by nearly 20 companies and organisations invited by a team of pupils, who wrote to local vets, restaurants, architects and beauty salons.
Also attending were representatives from Paston College and City College, Norwich, with students from the University of East Anglia running a workshop for pupils from primary schools at Cromer, Northrepps and Gresham.
Cromer Junior School deputy head teacher Suzanne Ashpole said: 'The teachers and staff at Cromer Junior School are acutely aware of the challenges facing young people, we are passionate about raising aspirations and we are hoping that a small seed will be planted as a result of this event.'
