Budding young fire-fighters will be able to meet Cromer station crew members and look around a fire engine at a community fun-run.

The event at Cromer’s Runton Road car park, also known as the carnival field, is on Sunday, October 21, with start times at 10am and 10.30am.

People of all ages and abilities can walk or run around the course as many times as they like, from 1km to 10km, and for every lap completed their card will be punched.

A spokesman said: “It’s a great opportunity for you to raise money for your own choice of charity or non-profit organisation, or just run for the fun of it.”

Water will be provided and the St John Ambulance will attend.

Entry fee (non-refundable) is £1 per person pre-registration and £2 per person on the day from 9am. For application and sponsorship forms, call the council on 01263 512254.
