Organisers believe more than 700 people packed out the marquee on the Runton Road carnival site to take part in the bingo extravaganza on Tuesday evening.

The event was organised by Jim and Janice Woolston and Trevor and Valerie Pells, who have been organising the event in Cromer for more than twenty years.

This year's event raised £4403.50, with £1554 raised from the raffle alone. The profits will be invested back into the carnival.

Organiser Janice Woolston thanked all of those who helped to make this year's event the most successful yet.

"A special thank you goes to the local businesses who donated prizes to the raffle, as well as the carnival team, the bar staff, door sellers, runners and checkers who all ensured it ran smoothly".
