Cromer-based writer, broadcaster and entertainer Keith Skipper is returning to a familiar spot near home for a solo fundraising event.
Mr Skipper will be at St Margaret's Church in Thorpe Market on Sunday, February 18 from 2pm to 4pm with a variety of his Norfolk-themed books, DVDs and CDs for sale, including his latest volume All Preachers Great and Small. The churchyard's snowdrops are also proving a magnet for visitors this month, and the church will offer a spread of teas.
Mr Skipper, who plans to donate part of the day's proceeds to the church's upkeep, said: 'I am looking forward to a cheerful mardle with any Snowdrop Sunday visitors who want to share a yarn or memory. There's also the chance to help an excellent cause by buying a Norfolk souvenir to recall a grand session of sharing fellowship and fun.'
Mr Skipper said he had visited St Margaret's several times before as part of a church fundraising tour.
