Hundreds of homes have been left without power in north Norfolk because of a fault with an overhead electricity line.

UK Power Networks reported 418 homes in the Sheringham and Cromer areas were without power around 4pm on Monday (September 23).

Around an hour later, 159 properties were still reported as being without power, and the company hoped to have all properties back connected again by 6pm.

The issue has now been resolved and power has been restored.

UK Power Networks said: "Our engineers had to redirect power due to a fault on the electricity network."
