As leader of both North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) and the Conservative group in the district council, I would like to send my heartfelt congratulations to councillor Hilary Cox for her well deserved award of the MBE.

Hilary has worked tirelessly over many years in her roles as councillor on the town council, county council and also as a district councillor where she always shows a willingness to work for everyone regardless of their political persuasion.

It’s also recognition for all her work on various groups in the town and also for all her well documented charitable exploits, from bike rides to climbing mountains!

Well done Hilary. It’s really well deserved and we are extremely proud for you.
