The deadline to nominate people, groups and organisations for a north Norfolk community enhancement award runs out this Friday.District council chairman Sue Arnold launched the awards, one for coastal and market towns and the other for smaller communities, in 2008 to encourage those striving to improve the local environment through actions such as clearing up litter, putting up bird boxes or planting a community garden.
