Dog lovers will have the chance to meet rescued animals in search of loving homes at an upcoming coffee morning.

Safe Rescue For Dogs, a Norfolk-registered charity, is hosting the event on Saturday, March 9 at Banningham Village Hall, near Aylsham. Organisers hope the event will attract people thinking about fostering or adopting a rescued dog. Visitors will be able to find out more about the re-homing process, and meet some of the dogs waiting for their forever families.

Bridget Foreman, a charity trustee and volunteer, said: 'Our dogs have had such a tragic start to life, they really deserve their happy endings.

'We would encourage anybody who has the time and love to give to a rescue dog to visit us on Saturday and find out more about our charity and meet the dogs.'

The coffee morning will run from 10am to 12.30pm. For more information, visit www.saferescuefordogs.com, find them on Facebook or call 07788 251197 or 07899 844524.
