Honing's Miles of Daffodils Day will be held at the village hall on Sunday, March 25, from 11am to 4pm.

There will be a tombola, a book stall and vintage tractor rides from the hall along the avenue in Long Lane.

There will be refreshments in the hall, with all proceeds going to Honing Church Fabric Fund. There will also be a plant sale in aid of the village hall fund.

The source of the spectacle dates back more than 20 years to when the local farm was given two tonnes of under-sized daffodil bulbs as sheep feed instead of potatoes. Farmworkers were unsure of their safety and tipped them off the trailer hence today's display.
