Children at a north Norfolk school have been learning how to keep themselves safe from abuse and to get help if they have any worries.

It's part of ongoing work at Millfield Primary School in Recreation Road, North Walsham to raise awareness and take part in a series of fundraising activities in aid of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

Earlier in the term, the children's charity presented an assembly as part of its 'Speak Out, Stay Safe' programme about abuse and where to go if children need help. Children took part in workshops and were busy fundraising for the charity.

Deputy headteacher Jeanette Ashby said: 'I would like to thank everyone for their support and for the sponsorship money collected. The money raised, £1512.18, will be donated to the NSPCC to help fund the incredible work they do with children and families.'
