A countywide care charity with roots in north Norfolk is asking people to get baking to boost its funds this month.
The Benjamin Foundation, set up by Edingthorpe man Richard Draper, is marking its 21st anniversary this year - and providing a range of services from a safe home for vulnerable children to family support and accommodation for homeless young people.
It is holding its fourth annual Butterfly Cake Bake and has won support from celebrity Bake Off expert Mary Berry, who has given permission for her tried-and-tested butterfly cake recipe to be shared as part of the charity bake.
Chief executive Tony Ing said the charity relied on community support to fund its services and encouraged workplaces, schools, social clubs or just friends and family to take part in the bake.
