The beautiful north Norfolk coast has drawn visitors to our region for centuries, and now businesses have been invited to learn more about a new initiative aimed at boosting the region's tourism economy.
North Norfolk District Council is investing £500,000 in the 'Deep History Coast' initiative, and is hosting a 'business ambassador event' at Trimingham Village Hall on Wednesday, March 6 so firms can learn how they can get involved.
The initiative will involve setting up a discovery trail with information boards along the coast, a 'Deep History Coast' discovery centre in the North Norfolk Information Centre in Cromer, as well as a mobile phone app to bring the project to life.
The Deep History Coast stretches from Weybourne to Happisburgh.
Sessions take place at midday and 5pm, email deephistorycoast@north-norfolk.gov.uk or call 01263 516256 or 01263 516009 for more information.
