Youngsters at Cromer’s Suffield Park Brownie unit cooked up their own pizza recipes at a healthy eating event held at their headquarters on Overstrand Road.

Using the NHS Eatwell Plate diagram – which shows how much of what we eat should come from each food group to achieve a balanced diet – the 23 Brownies created Olympic flag-themed pizzas using different coloured ingredients, ranging from black olives, to blue cheese.

The event was organised by leaders with the help of Simon Clipsom, who is community champion at Morrisons supermarket, Cromer, who praised the youngsters for their “exceptional” behaviour.

He added: “One of my roles is to be involved in the local community, so it was a pleasure to be invited along to talk to about healthy eating to the Brownies.”
