An annual award celebrating the best in building design and conservation across north Norfolk is open for business.
Now in its 37th year, North Norfolk District Council's (NNDC) Graham Allen Award demonstrates the area's history of producing high quality innovative developments and sensitive renovation projects.
First awarded in 1982 as a memorial to the late councillor Graham S Allen, the first chairman of NNDC, the award, in the form of a bronze plaque, is presented annually to the scheme considered to make the best contribution to the built environment.
Karen Ward, NNDC's cabinet member for housing and planning, said: "The Graham Allen Award has become a key feature in the annual calendar, as we get to see the amazing design and building work which has contributed to the best examples of development across the district."
There is also a People's Choice Award made, based on a public vote.
