A Cromer couple's wheeling and dealing skills failed to prove a winner on a television reality show.
Bhaj and Shelley Sidhu went head to head with a couple from Suffolk on yesterday's daytime TV programme Bargain Hunt.
But their purchases, at the Royal Norfolk Showground, of a 14-legged African stool, a pewter tea set and wooden book holder, combined with an expert's purchase of a bit of Swedish glass saw them lose 115 at the auciton staged at Gaze's of Diss.
Their rivals fared slightly better with their travelling trunk, bronze sow, chair and picnic set only losing 65 from their 600 budget.
Presenter Tim Wonnacott said the losses by both teams were 'horrific', but the Cromer pensioners, from Overstrand Road, who used to run a bric-a-brac shop in South West France and are regular visitors to Aylsham salerooms, said they enjoyed the experience.
