Those with loved ones in Cromer Cemetery have been reminded that an inspection of the site is upcoming.

Members of the Cromer Town Council and the administration will be reviewing the site on April 18.

Signs to such affect will be put up around the cemetery beforehand.

The town council will then request than any unauthorised items be removed, so that the site is safe and pleasant for all visitors.

Items which are not permitted on the site include breakable items such as glass and ceramic, as they could injure passers by if damaged.

Items which emit light, sound or movement are also not permitted as this can ruin the ambiance of the cemetery for other people.

To read a full list of regulations about appropriate items for the graveyard, visit the town council’s website.
