A man has been assaulted in King's Arms Street in North Walsham and police are appealing for witnesses.
A man has been assaulted in King's Arms Street in North Walsham and police are appealing for witnesses.
The 27-year-old victim was walking along an alleyway near the King's Arms pub when he was approached by two men who verbally abused then grabbed him.
A third man then demanded he hand over money. The victim was then knocked to the floor and his wallet and mobile phone were taken from his pockets but not stolen, said police.
The incident happened between 11:30pm and 11:45pm on Saturday June 26 and anyone with information should contact DC Riki Chase at Great Yarmouth CID on 0845 456 4567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
