Police have renewed appeals for information after three cars were ‘keyed’ while they were parked in Overstrand High Street.

The incidents happened between 3.30pm and 6pm on Friday, March 22.

As reported, one of the victims, Brenda Hawksworth, 72, had only bought her blue Ecosport mobility car two weeks before.

She said: “I’ve lived here for 12 years and nothing like this has happened before. It’s upsetting and it makes you feel a bit nervous.”

Resident Chris Yardley added: “The cars all had their paintwork ‘keyed’ along the footpath side.”

A Norfolk police spokesman said: “We got a call from a resident reporting the damage at 6.24pm on Friday.”

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area around the date stated.

Anyone with information should contact PC Peter Davison at North Walsham police station on 101, quoting crime reference number 36/20117/19.
