An 85-year-old man was airlifted to hospital today with a serious ankle injury after he suffered a fall in Holt.
The patient was picked up by the East Anglian Air Ambulance and arrived at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hopistal shortly before 10.30am.
A land ambulance attended initially but the helicopter was called because of the severity of the injury, said a spokesman.
