North Norfolk News website crowned the UK’s fastest growing - by a country mile

The North Norfolk News website is officially the fastest-growing online hub for regional news in the country.
According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) the website’s number of ‘daily unique average browsers’ - also called readers - rose by 72pc compared to its year-end figures for 2018.
The results show that every day an average of 5,892 people visit the website to find out about the latest news, sport and events in the north Norfolk region.
The website is also a portal for anyone seeking jobs, property or motors in north Norfolk, and its companion social media pages on Facebook and Twitter have become vibrant forums for community discussion.
www.northnorfolknews.co.uk was streets ahead of the next best result - the Belfast News Letter - which recorded a year-on-year change of 45pc.
The NNN’s sister website, the Norwich Evening News, also made the top 10, recording a 23pc increase, and an average daily online readership of 22,988.
And the Eastern Daily Press website at www.edp24.co.uk - the largest site run by the papers’ publisher, Archant, remains among the most popular in the country, only rivalled by The Scotsman, the Edinburgh Evening News, the Yorkshire Post and the Sheffield Star.
The EDP’s site now has more than 100,000 visitors every day after recording a 6pc year-on-year increase.
