A group from North Norfolk Coalition Against Cuts will be demonstrating at Kelling Hospital and in Holt town centre on Saturday, March 10.

Group spokesman Maureen Winslade said: 'We are having a demo against a recommendation for the sell-off of buildings and land belonging to the NHS, at a very low price. This was highlighted in the Naylor report, which came out last year. Kelling Hospital was mentioned as a possible site in this area. We aim to make people aware of this.'

'We will be outside Pine Heath ward at Kelling Hospital at 11am. We will be there for an hour and then move to the war memorial in Holt High Street for another hour. We expect trade unionists to join us from other areas.'

The group, which is opposed to the policies of austerity, meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Sheringham community centre, at 7.30pm.
