A book of condolence in memory of Ian Tang has been set up at St Nicholas Church in North Walsham.

It can be signed in the side chapel and there are also plenty of tea lights that can be lit.

The church posted the news on Facebook and Mr Tang's father Robert said: 'Thank you very much, can I come and light a candle for my son Ian?'

Mr Tang's body was found in woodland near to the B1145 at Swafield, just outside North Walsham, at about 11.15am yesterday.

The 20-year-old, who lived in North Walsham, was last seen on the B1145 in the town just before 6am on Sunday. He had enjoyed a night out with friends at the KA club in the town, which he left at about 2.30am.

His father has spoken of their loss.

He said: 'My heart broken. We weren't prepared for you to go.

'You were too full of life to be taken away from us so soon, it's still hard to believe.

'How much we will miss your smile and laugh in our ears, your absence leaves a hole in us we're filling with our tears.

'We were blessed to see you grow up, but you are gone too soon.'

Mr Tang was a student at City College Norwich and worked at Rossis leisure centre in the town.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious

Chief Inspector Wes Hornigold said they were trying to piece together his last movements, and enquiries are ongoing into why he was in Swafield.
