A new shop dedicated to crystal healing, readings and wellbeing is set to open its doors next week.

Cottage Beads and Crystals, based in Sheringham and owned by Tanja Brain, will launch the new space next door to its existing shop.

The opening event will take place on Tuesday, September 1, from 11am to 3pm.

Ms Brain, 49, said: "I’m so excited to announce the opening of my new shop next door, dedicated to crystal healing, readings, workshops, teaching and wellbeing.

"Everyone is welcome – whether you’re completely new to crystals and wellbeing or already love this world.

The original Cottage Beads and Crystals shop has been open for three years after Ms Brain’s journey into crystal healing began when she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.

"I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia about six years ago now and I could not work," she said

"My new neighbour helped me with crystals and something resonated - it all fell into place and within six months of meeting her I got the shop."

Ms Brain, from Fakenham, credits crystals with improving her health and inspiring her to help others.

She chose Sheringham as a base for the shop due to the "feel of the town, and the people are really nice".

"The crystals saved me, totally, I know that sounds mad but they really did," she said.

"I want to help people, it is the mantra of my life, it is the thing I do with my shop and I wanted to take it further.

The shop is going to be open as much as possible, and Ms Brain said there has been lots of interest already, with bookings for opening week.

Workshops will include jewellery making, crystal teaching, pendulums, tarot and healing work for both people and animals.

The new space is located at Cottage Beads and Crystals, Unit 1, Station Road, Sheringham.
