Richard Digance is to perform at Sheringham Little Theatre next month.

The current patron of Cromer’s Folk on the Pier festival will be back for an evening of "songs and stories".

Mr Digance, whose career spans more than five decades, is known for blending music, comedy, and storytelling.

He emerged during the 1960s folk revival, supporting acts like Jethro Tull, Steeleye Span, Steve Martin, and Robin Williams before hosting his own ITV and BBC Radio 2 series.

In his career, he has released 44 albums, authored 24 books, composed for Bill Bryson audiobooks, and appeared 200 times on Channel 4's Countdown.

A BAFTA nominee and recipient of the Gold Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, he now performs selectively while pursuing writing and art.

An Evening with Richard Digance will take place at Sheringham Little Theatre on Sunday, September 13.

The show will start at 7.30pm.
