Norwich-based Cavalry Tattoo Studio has applied to Broadland District Council to open a new premises in Market Place, taking over a currently vacant office unit.
The proposal seeks permission to change the building’s use to allow it to operate as a tattoo studio.
The business, which has been running in Norwich for seven years, has built up a client base that travels from across the UK and sometimes overseas for appointments.
In a planning statement, the applicants said: “We’ve built a great relationship with our current neighbouring businesses and hope to do so again in Aylsham.”
If approved, the studio would run on an appointment-only basis, with bookings made online, meaning no signage or external alterations to the building are planned.
The new site would be staffed by four tattoo artists, including three full-time and one part-time.
No decision has yet been made on the application.
