North Norfolk District Council has said the single-storey property, which was given temporary planning permission in 2023, can stay at the Grove Veterinary Hospital in Fakenham.
A planning officer's report said there had been no objections from the town council or members of the public during the trial period.
There had also been no issues with safety or parking on the site off the main Holt Road, while the addition had also not harmed the character of the area, which lies on the outskirts of the town.
The veterinary practice said in its application: "The consultation space provided under this approval is in constant use and is currently a key part of the operational function of the business."
It added it was currently reviewing potential options for a permanent building on its site, but would need to continue using the temporary accommodation for the time being.
