A new heat-health alert for Norfolk has been issued ahead of another spell of hot weather.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has put the warning in place from midday on Saturday until 5pm on Wednesday.
It follows the record-breaking temperatures in the county which recorded the hottest June day ever seen in the UK.
Lingwood near Norwich saw a peak of 37.6C, the highest temperature recorded in the country for June.
The alert means that minor impacts are likely across health and social care services, including increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people, greater risk to life of vulnerable people and increased potential for indoor environments to become very warm.
People have also been warned that water-related incidents may increase, including risks from cold water shock and drowning.
Parts of Norfolk are forecast to reach 27C on Saturday and gradually increase to more than 30C by Wednesday next week.
The risk matrix for the alert is currently ranked at seven, the lowest possible, however forecasters are still urging locals to exercise caution.
